Ayurveda originated in India over 3,000 years ago. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge). Ayurveda therefore translates as "knowledge of life" or "science of life." Ayurveda is a compilation of the medicinal parts of the Atharvaveda, the fourth of the four Vedas.
Atharvaveda is the fourth of the four sacred Vedas of Hinduism. Atharvaveda is also called Brahmaveda and contains mantras (sacred sayings) in praise of the gods, medicine, science, philosophy (geopolitics, magic, divination), etc. Ayurveda was believed because Atharvaveda describes many types of medical methods (theology, drug use, disease prevention, naturopathy, magic, etc.).
4-Veda
The Rig Veda, the Sama Veda, the Yajur Veda, and the Atharva Veda
As medical experts from all countries are deeply convinced, the current situation can be improved by a rational combination of traditional and modern medical systems.
Ayurveda, a traditional medical system, based on scientific knowledge of the individual characteristics of the human body, its interaction with the environment, the influence of seasons and weather, as well as proper nutrition, truly realizes the prevention of diseases and the maintenance of a healthy body.
Ayurveda's predictive approach, based on constitutional knowledge of the human body, contributes to the solution of a serious challenge of modern society - the birth of a vigorous generation, and provides an opportunity to overcome non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, neurological diseases, chronic respiratory diseases, oncological diseases, diabetes, and obesity. Preventive strengthening of immunity by Ayurvedic means reduces the risk of seasonal respiratory and allergic diseases.
By increasing the priority of disease prevention using Ayurvedic methods, people will be able to reach the highest standards of health, overcome obstacles on the path to well-being, and improve medical and socio-economic development.
